RECOGNITIONS / REPORTS

  • Student Report: Van MacIver shared an update of happenings at Concord High School

    1. Rundlett Middle School Welcome Packets – RMS Principal Richard shared that students have created welcome packets for incoming sixth graders, to make the transition to middle school easier

  • Superintendent’s report: Kathleen Murphy  

    1. World Language Enrollment – Assistant Superintendent Kimberly Yarlott shared an update on world language in the district, including the new exploratory program for grade 6

    2. Professional Development Master Plan approved by NH Department of Education

    3. Anticipated last day of school: June 17, 2025

    4. HVAC timeline at CHS

    5. US Department of Education - Reminder of Legal Obligations Undertaken in Exchange for Receiving Federal Financial Assistance – Superintendent Murphy reviewed the document that must be signed by April 10, which is tied to Federal funds

    6. Out-of-District Placements – Superintendent Murphy provided an update on a newspaper article regarding special education services for out-of-district placements

    7. CHS Threat – Superintendent Murphy provided an update on the incident at CHS

CAPITAL FACILITIES MEETING

  • Meeting Minutes (April 2) – Jim Richards provided an overview of the capital facilities meeting last week

  • Recommendation to move forward with the Middle School Project

  • Notice of Intent to Remain on the Building Aid List – the district must submit the form by May 1 to stay on the building aid list
