Broken Ground students plant a tree at White's Farm

Project SEE planted a tree in honor of the program's 55th Anniversary! This serviceberry tree was gifted to the district through the NH DNCR Schoolyard Canopy Program.  Many thanks to Wendy Harrison's Broken Ground grade 5 class for their help planting the tree!

The serviceberry tree was chosen for its value to wildlife-- early flowers for pollinators and summer berries for birds. This is part of an effort to increase native plantings that are wildlife-friendly at the Project SEE Learning Center.
