The highlight of the event will be a live performance of Cabin Thoughts, a student-written play that explores the internal struggles of a group of girls attending summer camp. Through storytelling and performance, the play sheds light on the emotional challenges young people face and encourages empathy and understanding.
In addition to the performance, attendees will hear from Getting to "Y," a student organization focused on youth voice and mental health advocacy. Their presentation will emphasize the importance of connection, resilience, and supportive environments for students.
The free event is supported by the Project AWARE grant, to promote open conversations around youth mental health, reduce stigma, and provide resources and support for students and families across the region.
Interactive activities will also be hosted by Bow’s BeBold Leadership Club, offering participants opportunities to engage, reflect, and connect with peers and community members in a supportive setting.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., welcoming students, parents, educators, and community members for an evening of meaningful programming and engagement.
Organizers hope the event will serve as a platform to amplify student voices, foster community dialogue, and encourage individuals to prioritize mental wellness.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
This is event is supported by SAU67, BeBold, Mental Health Awareness Club, Getting to “Y” NH, Granite United Way, Merrimack Valley School District and the Capital Area Public Health Network.
