Since 1970, Concord School District has made environmental education part of its curriculum. The Science and Environmental Education program is a direct complement to the district's elementary science curriculum, teaching not only science skills but life skills, social responsibility, and even the ABCs. Elementary grade-level programming takes place in classrooms, schoolyards and throughout the community. The White Farm outdoor laboratory and learning center on Clinton Street are special facilities operated by the environmental education program.
The program's goal is to provide Concord students with concrete "hands-on" science and environmental learning experiences and to develop scientific awareness and problem-solving skills.
You are welcome to visit White Farm at any time to explore the outdoors for yourself! Come hike, ski, bird-watch, or pull weeds in the garden!
White Farm is located on Clinton Street in Concord.
We hope to see you!
